Client Service & Portfolio Management Assistant

Overview

Pinnacle is a leading, independent registered investment adviser that manages over $8 billion
dollars in client assets. Pinnacle has been providing investment advisory services to affluent individuals,
families and institutions for 40 years. We are seeking an upbeat, detail oriented, motivated
professional to work in our Holmdel, NJ office as a client services specialist and portfolio
management assistant.


Responsibilities

•  Assist the Holmdel portfolio management team in placing trades, preparing client presentations
    and researching client inquiries and providing resolution.
•  Interact with prospective and existing clients to open new accounts, modify existing ones and to
    ensure they have an exceptional and successful client experience.
•  Manage the full life cycle of the new accounts process from the prospect stage to engagement
    including the preparation of new account documents.
•  Interact with the firm’s business partners (i.e., custodians, broker-dealers and consultants)
    regarding typical new account and existing account change matters.
•  Manage client data in the firm’s portfolio management and client relationship management (CRM)
    software.


Attributes & Qualifications

•  Minimum of three-years’ experience in the financial services industry (preferably working for
    another registered investment adviser).
•  Upbeat personality and excellent communication skills including the ability to converse with
    sophisticated investment advisory clients as well as colleagues and business partners.
•  Experience with trade order management, portfolio management systems (preferably experience
    with the Advent suite of products) and CRM systems.
•  Working knowledge of Microsoft office and Adobe suite of software products.
•  Experience preparing Schwab or Fidelity account paperwork, preferred.
•  Ability to think outside of the box and solve unexpected problems.
•  Ability to work effectively as a team player, demonstrate an overall positive attitude in the
    workplace and act as a cultural leader for the firm.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation will range between $75,000 - $100,000 depending on experience level. It will include a
base salary and a discretionary bonus, plus excellent benefits including access to healthcare
coverage and a 401k
plan.
