Client Success/New Accounts Specialist

Overview

A leading, multi-billion-dollar registered investment adviser is seeking an experienced and upbeat professional to act as a Client Success Specialist in the firm’s New Accounts Department.  Pinnacle has been providing investment advisory services to affluent individuals, families, businesses, and institutions for 40 years.  The firm is located in the New York Metro region with its main locations in NJ, NYC, CT and VA.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full life-cycle of the new accounts process from the prospect stage to engagement including the preparation of new account documents
  • Interact with prospective and existing clients to open new accounts, modify existing ones and to ensure they have an exceptional and successful client experience
  • Assist portfolio managers in researching client inquiries and providing resolution
  • Interact with the firm’s business partners (i.e., custodians, broker-dealers and consultants) regarding typical new account and existing account change matters
  • Manage client data in the firm’s portfolio management and client relationship management (CRM) software
  • Provide support services to the firm’s Operations Managers and Chief Compliance Officer

Attributes & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years experience in the financial services industry (preferably working in the New Accounts or Operations department of a registered investment adviser)
  • Upbeat personality and excellent communication skills including the ability to converse with sophisticated investment advisory clients as well as colleagues and business partners
  • Working knowledge of portfolio management, client relationship management and trade order management systems (preferably experience with the Advent suite of products)
  • Ability to think outside of the box and solve unexpected problems
  • Ability to work effectively as a team player, demonstrate an overall positive attitude in the workplace and act as a cultural leader for the firm

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation will range between $80,000 - $110,000 depending on the experience and skill of the candidate and includes excellent benefits such as access to healthcare coverage and a 401k/ profit-sharing plan.
